Description
This is a 1980 Music Man Sabre Bass with a Black finish. This is all original and includes a very nice aftermarket hardshell case. This has a rare Jazz Bass Neck profile which is a thinner profile and has a very different feel then a standard Sabre Bass. These are extremely rare and special basses.
This has a Black Body with a Maple Neck and Fretboard. The Bass is all original. The pickguard is black and all of the hardware is chrome.
This has all original electronics including an active preamp and 2 original Sabre Bass Humbuckers. The Bass weighs 9 pounds and 12.6 ounces.
This also includes a very nice aftermarket hardshell case. This bass is incredible and these Pre Ernie Ball Sabre Basses have gotten HARD to find!
Condition
This bass is super clean. There are a handful of checks inthe finish which are pictured. There is also a bit of light button scratching on the back that is so minor it was almost not even worth mentioning. This finish looks fantastic.
All of the hardware is super clean and is essentially glowing. The frets are in fantastic shape also. The case is clean.
